In version 2.3 and onwards, a new option “Checkout Mode” has been implemented for deposit management. This feature enhances the deposit process by allowing customers to pay a deposit amount based on the total cart value rather than per individual product.
Enabling the cart-based deposit option through the Checkout Mode feature not only simplifies the payment process for customers but also provides them with a more flexible and user-friendly checkout experience. Additionally, administrators can tailor the tax, shipping, and fee settings to align with their deposit and payment strategies effectively.
During checkout mode, deposit calculation at product-level is disabled, and the deposit tab will also be hidden from the product backend.
